Netgear makes great products, and this is no exception. The best part is this switch has no fan to go bad in it. My last two switches died after the fans wore out, even after being replaced once, which was a pain in the you-know-what. I use all 24 ports with a mix of servers, wifi routers, and a couple older 10mbit printers; everything is happy, and so am I.
This item is great for anyone who is looking to expand their existing equipment and the CAT5e cable couldn't be easier to use. This Netgear switch allowed me to expand my warehouse data collection capability by simply connecting to a 110v power source. Immediately, I was able to expand to up to 23 additional channels without signal loss. We can also adapt our security cameras using the same switch. All around, this is the best and most economical way to enhance your networking capabilities.
There's not much to say. You combine the excellent Amazon experience with the quality of a Netgear switch - I have 24 satisfied nodes on my network and happy clients.
This switch works great for the price - unmanaged which is perfect for home use.
i have yet to use all 24 ports at once. But i am very pleased with the product verses price aspect.
